Deb and I on the last cruise of the Ice Breaker Mackinaw going under the Mackinaw Bridge

Ice Breaker Mackinaw- This cool picture was taken by a fellow that was standing on top of the Mackinaw Bridge. You can see the Mackinaw just going under the bridge. It was a very cool ride . Deb and I had been aboard it 6 times over the years, and two times it was in the winter and we were breaking ice. We broke ice under the bridge in the shipping lanes one time so this brought back fun memories for us with Keith , who was the Captain and his wife Nancy and their kids, Brian and Karen. All of our trips on the Mackinaw were with them. Knowing this ship would never leave the dock again once we tied up at Mackinaw City was kinda sad. It was part of our past and some very special memories we will always remember. Thanks again Nancy and Kieth for inviting us to tag along all those times.
ICE BREAKER MACKINAW VIDEO CLIPS- We posted the first video clips today on my webpage of Deb, Tom, and I boarding the Mackinaw Ice Breaker for the last cruise, and us out on the ship and us passing Mackinaw Island. With 40 video clips already on my webpage, We will continue to add more video clips from the last voyage of the Mackinaw. I have always been somewhat of a boat nerd. ha,ha. Freighter Frank from Boatnerd Headquarters in Port Huron would enjoy seeing these. Frank took a couple pictures of us when we passed by on the Paul Tregurtha on that cool trip.
Acco Grader- I managed to get a few railings welded on yesterday in the afternoon.
We’re still having fun with Nicole and Bill , Nicole has been very helpful with the video clip process. So I want to give her a special thanks for coming home on vacation to get away from computers and the hussle and bustle of D.C. and working on computers. ha,ha.
And I want to thank Bill for all his time in the woods making sure we had plenty of fresh meat at meal times, ha,ha.
