O&K RH-400 Mining Shovel in 1/12th scale front drawing , Don Campbell’s next model .

O&K RH-400- Todays picture shows the very first step in the process of building the next 1/12th scale Mining Shovel Model.
It shows the front view minus the boom and bucket.
I am working on the side view too.
Ever since I got to climb in the operators seat and scoop rocks with a Terex RH-200 with a 33 yard bucket on the top of a Va. mountain , I knew someday I would build one of these awesome machines. Leon is the toy collector from Va. who ordered the Liebherr R9800 and the Monster O&K RH-400 models. I am very excited to build the RH-400 too .
Liebherr R9800- I got the first grey parts now painted .
HARD TIMES – Deb and I have walked around Gaylord for over 20 years. We have always enjoyed finding pennies, nickols, and dimes on the street or parking lot as we walk. We have never found much each year, but we have always found a penny or two on every walk. Well, this is a sure sign of hard times in Northern Michigan, we have barely found any pennies at all this year. (:<).
MOTORHOME – Next weekend I will pull the motorhome out of storage and get it ready to go for the summer camping season. Deb and I have the best times in that motorhome. Last summer we used it the least of any years since we bought it. So this year we plan to enjoy it much more.
Kia or Focus- We see a lot of Kia cars in Gaylord and some Ford Focuses. So we priced them recently and there is a $10,000.00 difference. We talked to a couple Kia owners and they said they love the little Kia’s and they have put over 75000 miles with no problems.
HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY !!!!!!!
