Dart Trucks are waiting to be loaded with coal in this picture sent to me by Steve Netta from Ohio. Steve said his dad and him took this picture with the monster Shovel known as ( GEM ) is in the background. The GEM no longer exists as it was cut up for scrap like several other monster shovels of their day. Steve sent me a few pics he took of some Dart Tractor/Trailer Coal Haulers near his home. He wondered if they would be something I might build a model of sometime. As many of you know I love all kinds of machines. I’ll have to say that Tractor/Trailer rigs are right up there on machines I like. The picture below is one Steve took of part of a Dart Hauler. Thanks Steve for the cool pics.
ACCO GRADER- I am back in the workshop and should get the body work all done after lunch and should get all the parts primed by tonight. Tomorrow I will paint the first coat of paint on all the parts. Sat. morning I will paint a second coat on the main parts.
SNOWMOBILING VIDEO- Yesterday I went for my first ride on my Ski-Doo Rev , it felt good after several weeks of spring like weather. The temps are in the mid-thirties today with drizzle in the forcast. So I plan to go for another ride this afternoon just in case the drizzle turns to pouring rain for the next week and melts it all again. The snowmobile video I took yesterday can be seen if you go to the ( video ) section and then go to the ( The Campbell Family ) section.
