Fun memories for Don Campbell operating a Koehring 1066E Excavator.

Camping on the Canadian Border- Deb and I know summer is winding down fast and we are not going to regret it when the snow starts falling in Oct.
We won’t regret it because we have been enjoying every week this summer having fun and making plenty of memories to last this winter. As we sit here in our motorhome looking out the big windows at the ships passing by and seeing Canada on the other side of the river, it is another beautiful camping day .
In the morning Deb and I will get our three mile walk/ run training in along the river for some new scenery.
This morning I ran 20 blocks non stop for my last run of the morning. So I was pretty pleased with that last little run of the morning after just 10 days of training . My coach says I need to be careful and not push it too hard too soon or I may hurt my knees . But it felt good and I didn’t think I was overdoing it. It is bringing back memories of my days 25 years ago of running five miles every morning . I really think I could get hooked on running again and maybe next year I will enter several races.
Liebherr T-282B Mining Truck Progress- This morning I completed the front stairs and railings and started on the second set of stairs and railings. It still doesn’t look like much yet, but I can see already it is looking right to me.
Todays picture was me having fun making a great memory playing in the dirt near Grand Haven, Michigan.
Have a great Friday
