Rimpull – Todays picture shows the next step moving closer to painting the Tandem Trailer Coal Hauler Truck Model.
I got all the welds ground smooth and the body filler layed over them. Monday i will begin the sanding process.
NEW FUEL PUMP – This mornings project for me was to put a new fuel pump in my pickup. This is my third one and my truck only has 25,000 miles. After reading a lot about fuel pump problems in GM trucks it sounds like this won’t be the last one either for my truck. Several people have put 6 to 8 fuel pumps in their GM trucks. Sounds like all the replacement pumps are junk ! I bought a Delphi pump and I also bought a new sender with a new wiring harness too and a new strainer and a new filter. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts. My truck only has 25,000 miles, it should still be running on the original pump.
