Model Trains- Several years ago I bought two books at Borders Book Store about Modern Diesel Locomotives. I always had a love for the big monster machines as they rolled by near my house as a little boy in Breckenridge, Michigan. Living next to the Grain Elevator so many nights I layed awake and looked over seeing the empty grain cars being unhooked and filled and hauled away. That was a long, long time ago . But maybe that is part of the reason i am so excited to build my first train set. Todays picture is not the exact one i will build. I think it will be a GP40-2 . I’m not even sure of the scale but the smallest it will be built in will be 1/12th scale. That will put the engine length at over 4 feet unless I build it in a larger scale like 1/10th or 1/8th scale. I will also build a couple coal hauling hopper cars for it. I’m very excited to do my first train and Nicole loves kitties so she will enjoy seeing (Chessie) the kitty on the sides and front and (:>). Another very exciting one of a kind model project for this winter to keep me out of Deb’s way, ha,ha.
MUD BOG – Today is our last day of vacation and Deb wants to go to a mud bog ? Well, I think she wants to go to a mud bog, ha,ha. Anyway were going to a mudbog today, yippee ! It’s been a few years so it should be a real hoot !
