Great Lakes Frieghters – Living around the Great Lakes my whole life I got to really enjoy seeing the passing boats as we crossed the Mackinaw Bridge or visited the Soo Locks or Port Huron . This model was one I started over two years ago and today I am sanding on it and finally working on finishing it. This is my very first boat model. Although I have the bridge roughed in, the unloading conveyor , the hatch covers on, the hatch cover crane, the anchor motors, and some of the railings there is still a lot of work left to do on it. I know it will look very cool when it is completed.
Morning Exercise – Deb and I did a 5K run / walk this morning and it was a great beginning to our first day back to work after 2 weeks of fun vacation.
