Buckley 2010 Steam Engine Show- Todays picture is probably the most unique looking John Deere I have seen in a few years. I definatley did a double take and a triple take as I rode on the Train at Buckley and spotted it. After we got off the train we walked in that direction and it was gone. But we did spot it later and we did visit with the elder fellow who built it. He said he saw one of these someone built many years ago and so he decided to build one and improve it. That was 7 years ago he built his first one and this one he just completed and improved even more . It is self propelled and steers with two levers. Not sure how much plowing it could get done or how much snow it could push but it sure creates tons of attention at the show. This was for sure my top pick of the Buckley 2010 for most unique John Deere.
Cat 657E – It’s cooler again today and perfect weather for welding . I am busy working on the cab on the scraper and the rear anchor winch on the ship model.
It is strange working on a 1/10th scale model part of the day and a 1/100th scale model part of the day. I hope I don’t accidently put the wrong parts on the wrong model, ha,ha.
National Truck and Construction Show in Indy- This is the weekend we would be in Indy enjoying the toy show but this wear we went to Cleveland instead.
