P&H 5700 looks pretty massive inside the house

P&H 5700- Todays picture shows Leon and I looking over the monster P&H 5700 after moving it from the workshop a few miles down the road and up a little hilly driveway and through a set of double doors. I actually thought it was a pretty easy move, ha,ha.
I think it looks great on the white carpet . I did notice a few small oil leaks from two hydraulic hoses and one from the rear hyfraulic tank ? LOL just kidding . It shouldn’t start leaking for another year when the seals start drying out, ha,ha,ha. Just kidding the white carpeting is safe. (:>).
It’s still hard to believe sometimes looking at my finished models that it begins with one flat piece of steel and I hand bend and shape every piece with my very crude tools. What a wonderful hobby it has been .
Cat Scraper Final Assembly – Today I worked putting the Cat 657E Coal Bowl scraper together. I have it 90% assembled and will finish it by midweek .
Train Mountain , Junction Valley Railroad , live Steam trains – I find myself looking at train sights on the internet lately and I will even surf the net more as I make progress on my toy train model. I will post the first progress picture next Sat. to show the very early look of the cab and nose section . I will get the first big steel order on Monday and should get the main frame started this week too.
Chessie Switcher Engine- I always loved the smaller switcher engines and who knows, maybe I will have to build one of those too to display next to the GP-40 Chessie . (:>)
No Bake Cookies – Yum , Deb made a second batch of no-bake cookies today this time with lots of coconut . Also we had fresh ravioli for supper , yum yum !
Have a great Sunday !!
