Gaylord Body Shop – I often get asked if other people help me on my models . I know many builders that do have other people do some of the work for them especially when it comes to the body work and paint work. To me if I had other people helping me , I would not feel it was my project. I do have to have the steel sheets cut into smaller pieces at the store , and I do have to pay for the large decals to be made and I did have to get the 1/4 inch steel plate and rings for the wheels so this project I did get a little help. But I have always done all the body work and painting myself.
That’s where I am now on the Diesel Locomotive as yesterday I mixed the colors and painted the first blue wheel parts.
I will also mix the colors to get get the orange with the red tint and the yellow that is a couple shades brighter yellow than Cat yellow.
Tomorrow I will paint more blue parts.
SUPERBOWL SUNDAY – It is Finally Superbowl Sunday and very exciting to hopefully see a great football game. Many experts are saying it will be a close game and that is more important than who wins . I hope it is so close it goes into overtime and the winner is determined during overtime . But that is doubtful. I do believe the Packers have a good chance and it would be so AWESOME if they do win !!!! We got plenty of goodies to munch on and were looking forward to the cute commercials too.
Living up north in the six months of winter with little to no sunshine, snow and slippery roads everyday we really enjoy football. It’s bitter sweet knowing after tonights game it will be over for another season. But what a great season it has been getting to watch the Packers until the very last game of the season. (:>).
