1/3rd scale Calt D-11R – Today is the very first progress picture on my next model project. It is at a very early stage and it is hard for me to want to share pics knowing little to no detail has been started yet .
This picture shows the ROPS roughed in, the cab roughed in, the fender tanks and electronic component boxes on and the cab floor and fenders roughed in. Did I mention I am totally pumped to build this awesome dozer that will be five feet tall . With the blade on front and the ripper on the rear it is going to be one heck of a toy dozer. !!
Next I will cut out the parts for the fuel filler caps , rear lights openings cut out , lift tab brackets , ROPS details .
I made the trip to Gaylord Steel and Fabrication and helped cut up 7 sheets 10 feet long by 4 feet wide of sheet steel. It is always exciting going to get steel and walk through and see all the projects all the workers are building . They all enjoy seeing my projects too , they all loved the finished pictures of the Chessie Diesel Locomotive .
Weightwatchers day 2 – Today I did better rationing my points after yesterday using most of them before suppertime.
I really forgot how little you can eat after feasting on everything al winter, ha,ha.
