Con-Expo 2011 – Todays picture is from Las Vegas and shows our friend Leon standing next to the Coolest Cat Quad-Trac I have ever seen !! WOW, What a Awesome machine !
Con-Expo is the worlds largest gathering of the newest machines the dealers want to show to buyers. Chuck Sword owns DHS Diecast Toys and is setup at a large booth again this year displaying his nice selection of very details models. We were invited a couple years ago to go to Con-Expo but we did not go because of my snowplowing business. But it really would be fun to go at least one time and admire all those beautiful brand new machines all in one location.
TWELVE INCHES OF SNOW – We ended up getting 12 inches of snow yesterday . I plowed 6 inches at 8:00am and I plowed another 6 inches about 5:00 pm. Then it stopped. So I got two plowings in yesterday , (:>)
Gaylord Snowmobile Trails – The trails are in great shape again and cold air is staying another full week . So some nice spring snowmobile conditions are back. I am going to go for a nice ride this afternoon on my Ski-Doo.
Cat D-11R Undercarriage Progress- I didn’t get much done in the shop yesterday but I am working on the rear track wheel and the rear section of the undercarriage that the rear wheel pivots on along with the design for the first bogie wheel assembly. The track pad and chain link construction have been put aside for a while and I am moving forward to designing the undercarriage parts. Everytime I walk into the shop and see this monster toy dozer I am very excited to see more progress.
