Cat 994F – Todays picture I posted as I was daydreaming about one of the several visits to the coal mines over the years. Each time I go back i think it won’t be quite as exciting as the time before but I am always wrong as i walk up next to these monster machines and climb up into the cabs. This is still one of the coolest things I have got to do because of my modeling building hobby. The next visit we will stay longer James and Val. Thanks again for all your kindness.
Cat D-11R 1/3rd scale model – I now have the front of the blade steel rolled and welded in place. Tomorrow i will start designing the first of the seven bolt on cutting edges. It’s crazy that this blade is wider than the real blade on my snowplow tractor. But I knew from the start this model would not get the real look until it was attached to the massive front blade . Oh, and did I mention my workshop is getting crowded , LOL
