Paul Tregurtha heads out in the ice yesterday . With the Soo Locks opening this weekend , many of the freighters are now on the move. As they work their way though the freshly broken ice trails the ice breakers recently loosened up for them. Many of them will be loaded and waiting in line at the Soo for their first voyage of the 2007 season. Deb and I will probably make the drive to the Soo this weekend to officially begin my boatnerd season, ha,ha. With lower water levels , the loads will have to be a little lighter this season.

WARMER WEATHER – It is supposed to get in the low fifties this afternoon, oh YEA !!
KOMATSU DOZER PROGRESS- I got the cab done and bolted to the floor. I am now working on the rear frame . I am cutting out the parts for the rear brackets that will hold the rear weight box. I should get that all done by tonight. Tomorrow I will begin building the engine.
