Garden Tractors – Here is another of my favorite half scale garden tractor projects someone built. Not only it is awesome, it also has duel wheels and I love tractors with duel wheels, ha,ha. Many years ago on the farm I always liked driving the 4010 and the 4020 when it has duel wheels on.
When my brother in law bought his first 4×4 case 2670 I remember going down to the shop to see it and the duel wheels were leaning against the side of the barn . The tractor was awesome because i loved big 4X4 tractors way back in the 70’s but I could not wait until they put the duels on it and I could drive it. They also bought a 28 foot folding drag for it and i could not wait to try it out. A few weeks later it was time to get in the fields and i got my first seat time and i was in total Heaven !! Even though it was not a John Deere 4×4 tractor I didn’t care . I just wanted to be at the controls of this monster tractor with 8 huge tires and a gigantic piece of tillage equipment behind me, ha,ha. It was SO, SO Cool . Later on he bought a larger Case 4×4 and eventually he did buy a JD 4×4 (:>).
But anyway todays picture is another project I would like to build . I am always thinking of building so many things and I think when the day comes I stop thinking about future projects it won’t be fun anymore. Right now I have about 20 projects lined up in my mind and it is all very exciting. Once a week i tell Deb my new plans and she just smiles and says sounds great !!
Mack Truck Paint – Today is the last day of sanding and repriming and wet sanding and then tomorrow I will start painting the first parts.
50 degrees in Jan – Feels like spring outside in Jan. Nothing we can do about no more snowstorms for a while so we just got to enjoy it.
