St. Ignace Car Show- My old Z-71 short box regular cab pickup is almost old enough to enter in the St. Ignace car show . A lot of old trucks are on display at the show and my truck is getting close to being a old truck. for being a daily driver in Northern Michigan you know i was kinda fussy with it to have original paint and it shines better than it did brand new.
Always hand washed and hand polished over the years. Always kept inside . Yesterday my old GMC turned over 30,000 miles. It is very rare the truck ever leaves Otsego County. We did make a road trip or two recently to get some garden tractors or it would have been another year before it would have turned over to 30,000 miles, dang !!
Now that I am 60 years old I decided to cheat and polish Deb’s Cadillac and my truck with the electric buffer. I was going to do the Ford Fusion too but deicded after two vehicles it wasn’t THAT EASY LOL
But it did really make the finish smooth as glass and i am glad I did it.
It seemed good to take a break from the workshop today.
