JD snowblower – Today I pulled off the 2 stage snowblower from the jd 455 tractor and put the single stage on it to try. The $50.00 2 stage was making a funny noise in the gearbox so I’ll have to check it over one day.
The single stage blower came off my jd 430 diesel tractor . I was pretty surprised the single stage threw the snow three times farther . Maybe the gearbox was dragging the fan blades down and not working like it should have.
