Mini 4×4 Articulating Garden Tractor- Todays picture shows project number ten coming up in two weeks. In less than a year I have managed to get 9 garden tractor projects underway . I am currently working on no. 9 and should be done with that in two weeks.
This project will get much larger diameter tires and require wheel adaptors to be made .
After I make the wheel adaptors and mount the tires it will no longer steer properly so the rear frame has to be disconnected and completely redesigned. New fenders will be built , a redesigned fuel tank location and a redesigned seat mount so the seat and steering wheel turn together instead of opposite like it currently does. Also this machine will get duel exhaust stacks to give that big tractor look. Out od all my garden tractor projects so far this is the one i have been waiting to do the most. A mini 4×4 articulating tractor with duel wheels front and rear has been my dream for 20 years. Can’t wait to get going on this project in two weeks.
I took the carb off the tractor yesterday and cleaned it all up , put rubber floor pads on it , put a yellow seat on it , and removed the old exhaust system . Today I started cutting the exhaust pipes to rebuild them for the upright exhaust pipe.
I still need to paint the hood , side panels and the grill .
