4×4 articulating tractors- We never had a articulating jd on the farm so whenever I saw one of the neighbors in the fields with their 4×4 articulating tractors I was in awe. Even today whenever i see a big 4×4 articulating tractor no matter what color it is or if it is new or old I always have to stare for a minute or two. I was lucky enough to farm with a couple Case 4×4 tractors but they had crab steering but they did have duel wheels front and rear and that was pretty cool. I did get to pull a couple pan scrapers with a JD 9400 4×4 articulating tractor and that was just awesome. So to be making a half scale version of one of these tractors is my dream come true. Today I am working on the yellow stripes.
Todays picture was taken a few miles down the road from my folks and there were THREE of these new big John Deere 4×4 articulating tractors sitting in one field. That made my day seeing three of them side by side. We do have three 4×4 jds on the farm now but none of them articulate. We also have four more smaller jd’s two wheel drive on the farm.
