Breckenridge Case IH Dealer – We headed down to the farm for three days and today we stopped by the area dealership to check out this beast of a grain cart. I swear the unloading auger on it is 24IN in dia.
Mid Michigan Corn Crop – When we go stay on the farm we always hop in the car and ride around checking the crops to see how they are doing . Things are so dry. Many of the corn fields look so bad right now. I don’t know if I can remember the corn looking so yellow and dead half way up the stalks before. Ive seen plenty of yellow at the bottom of the stalk maybe 12 to 15 inches up but there are so many fields the corn is dead looking over 2 feet up the stalk. Very sad.
We had a campfire last night and it was another fun visit down on the farm. Not much equipment being moved around for a while yet. I plan on getting a lot of farm harvest pictures this fall to share . I been wanting to do this for a long time too.
