Down on the Farm Memories – With snow in the forecast tonight and Thanksgiving just around the corner and people turning on their outside Christmas lights that sure says fall is winding down.
Although I did not spend a lot of hours on the farm , I did spend the most time around the equipment than I have in many years. It seemed good to walk around the barn and buildings I had not been in for a very long time. It seemed good to ride the combine and drive the farm truck with David .
I also enjoyed very much my time with Tim and Alex across the road . They let me run their equipment and that also brought back many very nice memories.
They are coming along great on the new house and should be moved in for Christmas morning .
We will head down again next week to the farm and visit with my mom and younger sister and I will get a few pics of David, Tim and Alex in the corn.
I have the most memories of corn harvest as a boy. Those pictures and videos will be fun to look at this winter in between plowing snow .
Were unsure of what next year will bring with my folks but we continue to pray for them.
Gaylord Snow Tonight – We have lake effect snow in the forecast tonight so it could be white in the morning. No big deal for us just makes a mess. Although it was a big deal for 12 rollover drivers in the last snow. Hopefully they will slow down this time, ha,ha.
