Waldon 5000 – Yesterday I made new gaskets for the carb and re-assembled it all and the old Waldon fired right up as soon as the gas filled the bowl again. I had no air cleaner on it so it was getting plenty of fresh air. Even though the rebuild kit won’t come for a few more days I will keep it for future use. The old air cleaner system was pretty rough so i am fabricating a whole new housing and tube assembly and a brand new air filter . I put a smaller screen so bees could not get inside it in the future.
I still have to get on the internet and find new throttle and choke cables for it . The ones I have are too stiff and hard to move.
Then it will be another fun winter playing on my little mini wheel loader. It isn’t worth much to most people as it is pretty slow and doesn’t have much power at 50 hp but it is perfect for me. It will stack the snow 10 or 12 feet high and that is great.
