Today’s picture is one from a past visit to a coal mine . This is one of the trucks I built a large model of a couple years ago. Growing up I loved dump trucks and to think I would ever get to see a real monster truck like this or to get to stand by several different brands of them , ride in them up and down the mountain and I never thought in a million years i would actually get in the drivers seat , fire up the engine and DRIVE one. My little toy building hobby let this all happen and what a fun 18 years it has been. This picture shows Deb and I getting ready to make the climb to the top to get in the cab . This is the only time Deb ever climbed in one of these monster dump trucks. She said she loved the view !! but hated the climb up and the climb down . She never did it again. (:>)
As I sit sometimes looking through the hundreds of photos and several hundred videos I am so thankful that Deb was always so willing to stand their hour after hour taking them. To this day I still appreciate what she did on all those visits with me.
Thanks again Deb , Smooch ! What a great best friend you are to me. Growing old together has even been fun .
