Bron 550 Drainage Tile Plow Progress - Roughed-In State Complete

This week’s video and photos show the progress on the plow, the spool on the machine, the step added on, the cab on with lights, and more. I’m working on the seat today.

The model at this point is mostly roughed in. This is the first time I’ve ever shared how I build a model from start to finish. Many of the areas right now are in rough shape and need to be sanded down using a Dremel (I use the 300 series which doesn’t seem to be around anymore but it’s like this one https://amzn.to/3iLtsqz). It’s just a process that slowly comes together.

I don’t usually share the model at this stage because it can look so rough and unfinished. When I build these by hand, I just can’t compete with a true toy manufacturing process that has precision parts and machines to make those parts.
