National Farm Toy Show- Sat. was always a very busy day , the halls of the school were packed with people looking at all the toys on all the tables. We always had a dozen people at our table talking to us and others waiting to talk to us. It was great fun seeing and hearing how everyones year went since we saw them . Another cool thing was how many of them looked at my webpage and said they really enjoyed the daily pictures. As they talked about Deb, Nicole , Bill and I , it was like they knew us all. Some people have visited my webpage on a regular basis since the first month I started it. They know everything from several years ago about us. Sat. night we always attended the Toy Tractor Show Dinner with Jason Hassert and about 50 other TTS friends. It was always fun visiting their too and getting a great meal. Sat. night we were always exhausted and ready to crash in the motorhome.
LETOURNEAU LOADER PROGRESS- This picture shows the front frame section roughed in and some of the body work started. It’s starting to take shape. Mon. I will begin cutting out the four sections for the loader arms that will be welded together to make two arms. The linkages for the bucket will take a while too to build . Then the Bucket will be the next project to build , then the engine and radiator will be built after that. The cab will be last to be built. Even though I got a good start now, I got a ways to go to completion. I’ll post the next picture when the loader arms are built and in place.
GAYLORD WEATHER- We got a lot of snow on the ground. The weatherman said areas near Gaylord got 17 inches of snow in the last two days. So there is no grass showing.
SNOWMOBILING CONDITIONS- Even though we got a good layer of snow , it was lake effect snow and very powdery. No good for snowmobiling. Have a nice Sat.
