Building the Michigan 675 wheel loader

Several years ago we drove down by Grand Rapids to see this Michigan 675 wheel loader. We met Russ the owner and spent three hours with him. He was a very nice guy and let me climb all over the loader, along with giving us a tour of his warehouse and scrap yard.

Russ told us how the machine had no frills but was built like a tank and was a real workhorse. He had sold and bought back the machine 3 different times, each time buying it back at a low price. He said the last time he bought it back it was set up and he had to get it running again.

I asked him if he drove it around much but he said he said usually only once a year. He told us there were only three of the 675 loaders left in the world and his was the only one still running. The other two were not complete machines.

I was able to drive down to the machine and get detailed photos of the cab, engine, exhaust, air cleaners, walkways, center pivot joint, etc since I planned on building a model of it. Below, you will see the model being built in the YouTube video.

Out of hundreds of machines I share photos of, this Michigan 675 is the top five machines liked best by everyone. In the future, I will be adding my top watched videos back on my YouTube channel.

Thanks again for all of the kind comments from everyone. Be sure to subscribe to and my new YouTube channel and click the bell for notification!

Have a great Saturday!
