When I shut down my webpage 7 years ago, I had reached over 3 million visitors and I had 11,000 subscribers from over 100 countries. Not a lot compared to today’s numbers necessarily but it was something I was proud to accomplish. Unfortunately, with the continually changing technology and someone stealing many of my photos (and using them to rob a woman of her life savings), I decided to take it down the website, shut down Facebook and get off of social media altogether. However, since then, I have continued to built and make things in my workshop and I have very much missed sharing them with people. The nice thing about the internet is that you can bring together people from all over the world with similar hobbies and I missed being able to do that.
After a long chat with my daughter, we decided to give it another shot, with her helping with the technology side of things, I got back on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and made my Flickr, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts public.
Even though it’s only been a week or so, I am so excited and happy to be back online with others that share similar interests.
