Now onto the fun stuff!!!

My grandson has always loved the Battlebot TV show and has been dreaming about making his own for a very long time. He spent a long time coming up with sketches and ideas and then asked if I could weld a prototype that looked like his vision. We had many FaceTime chats to makes sure I understand what he wanted and then I got to work.

He wanted to make sure the wheels were protected and he wanted a front spinner with a 2 tooth spinner, along with a rear drum with 4 rows of spikes. He said the front design needed wedges so we added those as well. On top, he wanted a spear so if another Battlebot fell on top of it, it would be pierced. He told me the colors and we both painted it. It was the first project we did together. It was a very special project to do with him.
